Alison Watson is a Resource Social Worker at NILTU,O Child and Family Services Society and has been at the society since 2017. Alison graduated from UVic in 2010 with a degree in Sociology and Social Justice and graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2012. Since then, she has worked with Children and Families in various roles including Family Support worker, delegated voluntary services worker, and Resource Social Worker. Alison has had the pleasure and honor to work with several different Indigenous Communities across British Columbia and is grateful to work with the W̱SÁNEĆ and lək̓ʷəŋən People of what we know as South Vancouver Island. Alison loves working with community members, getting to know families’ strengths and supporting them to keep kids in their community.
Alison has volunteered on Society Board of Directors for Women’s agencies in Northern BC and Victoria; she values creating community and continuously learning.
