NIȽ TU,O’s Culture & Care Daily Planner is designed to meet the needs of young adults. This flexible, undated planner is no ordinary way to organize one’s days and weeks. This project is one small part of NIȽ TU,O’s ongoing work to keep young adults involved in their community and culture by providing tools and resources that support their holistic wellness.

We are so proud to present the new Culture & Care Daily Planner, released in fall 2023.

It spotlights important elements of Coast Salish culture, including language, teachings of the 13 Moons, place names, and ancestral stories.

The planner is illustrated by Coast Salish artists, and also includes wellness tools based on a holistic health model, and interactive weekly Wellness Wheels.

We understand that there may be variations or different interpretations of spelling, orthography, pronunciation, and other details, depending on the location and family group of the source of knowledge. This is common when preserving knowledge passed down via oral tradition.

As such, NIȽ TU,O is always seeking Coast Salish caregivers to provide a culturally safe and welcoming home for children who – for one reason or another – can’t live with their parents right now.  Click here to learn more.
